Man Up Teacher Fellows will recruit men of color who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and are aspiring teachers. Man Up Teacher Fellowship will support and mentor these men through college into their professional life.

For undergraduate students who are aspiring teachers.
An undergraduate candidate is one who is within two years of completing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. The fellow will complete summer coursework through Man Up and attend monthly learning and application sessions until graduation.
Once program requirements are complete and state licensure requirements are met, Man Up Teacher Fellowship will assist graduates with job placement and provide ongoing coaching and support for up to three years.
Is eligible to graduate within two years after acceptance into Man Up Teacher Fellowship
A minimum 2.75 GPA
Complete a one year residency in a school setting
Pass required Praxis exams
Sign a five year commitment to teach
